Kidspace Romford Vinyl Graphics & Foamex Signs

Kidspace, creator of award-winning children’s indoor play and party venues, contacted us to freshen up the interiors at their Romford play space. Using imagery supplied by Kidspace, we designed and printed new graphics in a variety of large formats. The brief was to create a fun and exciting vibe for the interiors, but it was important for the finishes to be durable, washable and easy to replace without damaging walls and surfaces. To achieve this we used a variety of materials that included self-adhesive vinyl, polycril vinyl wallpaper, mesh banners and ridged foamex boards.

Combining impact with durability

Using the very latest high-quality digital printing, we were able to enlarge Kidspace’s fantastic imagery to create life size wall coverings and banners. For smooth walls we produced a durable and washable printed vinyl wallpaper featuring brightly coloured imagery of children at play.  Large printed foamex boards were used to cover textured and uneven surfaces throughout, including a full length multi coloured wall graphic for the café area.

Stretchy printed mesh banners were made for the sides of some of the climbing and play structures. Printed mesh was chosen to allow the graphics and brand to be seen while allowing light and a line of sight into the attractions.

Bringing the Kidspace Interactive Aquarium to life

For the interactive aquarium, the first of its kind in Europe and only the second worldwide, we created vinyl window graphics depicting scenes from the fantastical undersea world created by Kidspace. The Imagination Playground was the final space to receive a makeover.  This soft play area is aimed at younger children and features a variety of play blocks that can be fitted together to build just about anything budding builders can imagine. For this area we made durable and washable vinyl wall coverings with a simple design, matched to the blue colour of the play blocks.

Lots of fun at Kidspace Romford

This was a fun project for the Bluedot team, we all enjoyed designing, printing and installing the new graphics and point of sale branding.  The large format graphics and artwork we created make exciting and magical spaces for children while being durable and easy to maintain for Kidspace.
