Print and install seamless vinyl wall coverings, vinyl window graphics and Dibond signs throughout the park and install new light box signs to the park entrance.
Hobbledown Heath has been described as a themed adventure playground, but it is more than that. In the words of the founders, their vision was for a magical kid’s space with a strong sense of freedom and adventure. The vast 126-acre site does not disappoint. Themed attractions include slides, climbing towers, high ropes, aerial walkways, zipline, tunnels, splash park, woodlands, and 70 different animals. We were delighted when Hobbledown approach us to print and install a variety of graphics and signage for their Hounslow adventure park, but boy was it a big project!
High impact seamless printed wall graphics
How do you make plain walls convey fun and adventure? You cover them in giant graphics, printed on seamless polycril vinyl. Polycril is perfect for producing high-definition printed graphics as a seamless canvas. It can be cut to fit practically any space, is easy to install, and is washable, making it great for commercial interiors.
We turned Hobbledown’s great artwork into large vinyl wall coverings for the cafeteria along with giant Hobbledown logos on other walls. Giant vinyl Hobbledown logos in various colours we are also printed and applied to windows and glass partitions. Seamless vinyl was also used to create branded wall coverings, advertising Hobbledown’s sister businesses, Kidspace and Gripped.
Literally hundreds of Dibond signs
With such a large space, covering indoor and outdoor areas, Hobbledown were always going to need lots of signs. We created hundreds of bespoke sized signs on dibond aluminium boards for everything from directions to attractions and facilities to safety notices and boards providing information about Hobbledown’s animals. Installing the new signs kept the Bluedot team busy for a good couple of days, but there are certainly worse places to work. The animals can be particularly distracting!
Signs of light over Hobbledown
With vinyl graphics and signage complete, that just left some illuminated signs for the iconic totem at the entrance to Hobbledown. We created illuminated Corten steel lightbox signs for Hobbledown Heath, with raised lettering in a great rusted finish, and their new attraction, Gripped Ariel Adventures, which the team took to site and installed the same day.
