Large format printing (also referred to as Wide Format Printing) covers a wide range of products and services including posters, PVC banners, roller banners, portable display stands, vinyl graphics and more. It is also important that attention is paid to the resolution of any supplied artwork. Bluedot Display will check artwork for print quality before it is printed. Print Media

There are hundreds of different materials to print onto some of which are listed below to give you inspiration for your large format printing needs. There are many different types of vinyl, polypropylenes and paper. Specialist materials like flag material, fabrics, canvas, self adhesives for windows, easy tack materials that can be removed without leaving marks, backlit film which is mounted in a light box, perforated one way vision vinyl, wallpaper, print your own unique wallpaper apply paste and mount it looks great in a restaurant, static self cling for windows, magnetic sheets for mounting to metal, frosted / rice paper effect pvc for internal windows. Cut vinyl lettering and images can be created using coloured vinyl you don’t have to only apply this to vehicles, vinyl lettering can go on many other surfaces to produce simple wording for dramatic effects.

Laminates

Laminates don’t just have to be matt or gloss to protect the image from scratching, these days they can create wonderful effects and enhance the printed image. Protect outdoor posters with anti-graffiti laminate. There is a range of embossed laminates to give the effect of canvas, linen, leather, even a sparkle gloss, deep textured scratch resistant floor laminate. UV light block laminates are available to reduce fading of images positioned outside.

Substrate or Mounting Materials

Printed media can be applied directly to many materials and mounted in picture frames, specialist POS display stands and indoor outdoor hoarding frames or light boxes. It is also mounted onto intermediate materials (of varying thickness) which in turn are mounted to walls and used as display boards. Some of these materials are foamex, foamboard, aluminium panels, MDF, acrylic, glass, thus creating stunning indoor and outdoor posters. Direct application to walls, concrete and pavements is also possible.

Foamex Sign Printing

Foamex panels are lightweight, re-usable PVC sheets which are both tough and versatile. Similar to a plastic sheet, sheets of Foamex board are waterproof, UV stable and, as such, are a long-term solution for your advertising strategy.
Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, Foamex display boards and signs are re-usable and long-lasting, making Foamex board printing a cost-effective option. We take great pride in the high quality of our print, and printing onto Foamex panels is no exception. Your print will be produced in the thickness and size you select with your choice of finish. Choose from a matt, gloss or dry-wipe laminate finish. Signs and displays created using Foamex are ideal for use at exhibitions as they are quick and easy to fix to stands at events.
