Roller banners are versatile and simple to use, providing a great format to advertise your products or services and are ideal for both large and small displays.

They are cost effective and great value for money.

They can be used at an array of venues whether it be exhibitions, trade shows, conferences as well as in your own reception and retail outlets.

They are light and easy to transport.

They are easy to install, taking a few minutes to assemble and pull up. Once set-up the graphic stays flat and will not curl when rolled out from the base.

If you are looking to make a big impression with your customers then roller banners are the ideal choice. They are creatively versatile as the design options available are endless, whilst always ensuring you are on brand.

Bluedot Display can supply and install graphics for all types of stands. Graphics can be supplied to dress shell scheme stands or free standing modular display stands. Graphics can be supplied as rigid or rollable panels, to enable easy transportation.

Shell Scheme Graphics

Shell schemes can either have seamless displays or supplied as individual in-fill panels. In-fill would include full colour individually printed graphic panels mounted onto 3mm Foamex. These panels will be mounted directly onto the shell scheme walls in-between the aluminium framework allowing the uprights and cross beams to still be visible. For a seamless display, the graphics will be mounted over the uprights. Both options can be supplied on rigid pvc or rollable pvc panels.

In addition to the stand graphics, Bluedot Display can supply items to help complete the stand, including counters, podiums, literature stands, flyers, brochures, business cards, roller banners and other portable display options.

Free Standing Display Stands

If backwalls are not available for your exhibition, we can supply free standing modular displays stands (Tecna T3 Airframe). This modular display system is designed to take rollable or rigid graphics using magnetic tape or velcro.

Modular Display stands will save you money; quick and easy self-build, easy to transport so no need for specialist transportation and no need for skilled labour. They can be used to create stunning small or large exhibition stands, conference sets, retail display solutions, counters, points of sale, photo booths, mobile bars and light boxes – the list is endless.

The human mind is a funny thing………

For example, when we proofread and edit our own writing, we tend to read it as we think it should be, which means we misread our own typos, spelling, grammar, and punctuation mistakes.
Proofreading Tips

Here are some proofreading and editing tips that you can put into practice.

Proofread and edit every single piece of writing.

Understand the difference between proofreading and editing. Edit first by making revisions to the content and language. Then proofread to check for proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

Step away from a piece of writing before you proofread it. The longer the piece, the longer you should wait to proofread it.

Read your work aloud. Pronounce each word slowly and clearly as you read and check for mistakes.

Proofreading should never be a rush job. Do it slowly.

Don’t review your work once and then send it out into the world. I recommend editing until the piece reads smoothly and proofreading three times or more.

At the very least, proofread until you don’t catch any more errors.

Read the piece backwards so you can see each word separately and out of context.

Look up the spelling of proper names as well as scientific and technical terms that you’re not familiar with to make sure you’re spelling them correctly.

Don’t make any assumptions. If you’re not sure about something, look it up so you can fix a mistake (if there is one) and learn the correct way.

Don’t forget to proofread titles, headlines, and footnotes.

Proofread when you’re fresh and wide awake. Proofreading is not done well when you’re tired or distracted.

Proofreading and editing can be tedious, so break up your revision sessions by doing other tasks that help you clear your mind.

Do you want your signage to be easily legible?

The science behind signage colour and contrast!

Arthur & Passini described in their book Wayfinding from 1992 a reliable calculating method to calculate the contrast difference between two colours. The formula is based on the light reflectancy (LR) readings in percentages for each of the two colours involved. By subtracting the darker colour from the lighter colour, divided by the difference by the lighter, and multiplying by 100, we get brightness differential. When the brightness differential is 70 percent or higher the legibility is assured. When it is less, the legibility cannot be assured and those colours should not be using in that combination – see table above.

Some sample combinations are detailed below………….
